February 29, 2008 Friday - (Day +1177) Outpatient - (Day 1137)

Nicholas had a great night rest last night and a great dinner. He ate a big breakfast and is just full of energy. His nose does not seem to be running as much as last night.  WE are going to hang here and then go home for lunch. Please pray that this is the last sickness for Nicholas for a while.

February 28, 2008 Thursday - (Day +1176) Outpatient - (Day 1136)

I went to get Nicholas today so he can come down to party with the boys for the weekend. He is still sick but seems to be getting better. Tomorrow is the last day for the antibiotic. He has a lot of energy and hope he starts to eat a little better. We are here at the shop for a while then home to eat dinner. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 24, 2008 Sunday - (Day +1172) Outpatient - (Day 1132)

Nicholas' cold has got worse dropping down into his lungs. He has a cough and a runny nose. Hopefully we are on the down hill side and it is just running its course. He is on antibiotics for it so I hope he is getting over it. Other than his cough is worse but I hope it is better. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 23, 2008 Saturday - (Day +1171) Outpatient - (Day 1131)

Nicholas woke up at 6:00am this morning and wanted to go out to play the 360 and tickly. He is definitely feeling better. He ate a great dinner last night and a huge breakfast today. We are going to the shop for a half day today then back home. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 22, 2008 Friday - (Day +1170) Outpatient - (Day 1130)

Nicholas came down today and is so full of it. He has a lot of energy and is saying some very funny things. He wants to get out and about and do things so he is feeling better. He is still congested but I will turn on the humidifier tonight and hopefully he will continue to get better. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 20, 2008 Wednesday - (Day +1168) Outpatient - (Day 1128)

Nicholas woke up this morning tilting his head and complaining that his ear hurt. Back to the local Ped. and found out that he had a dual ear infection. He was put on a different medication and home we went to wake up to a full blown cold. I think that he has caught everything that has been going around. The doctor said that his immune system is very strong and he is glad to see that. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 18, 2008 Monday - (Day +1166) Outpatient - (Day 1126)

Nicholas woke up this morning on the go. He wanted to tickle and hide at 6:30am. I love it that he is feeling so good. He rode his scooter this morning and off to the flower shop we went. He will go to his moms this afternoon for a few days. He is going to go back to school tomorrow now that he is not sick and his immune system should be up. Please pray for our little scooter boy.

February 17, 2008 Sunday - (Day +1165) Outpatient - (Day 1125)

Nicholas slept 10 hours last night and we have been playing since. He feels great and today is the last day on the antibiotic. He is back to riding his scooter and having fun at the shop. He has a great appetite and says the funniest things. We acme to the shop to get a newspaper and now back to the house to watch motocross. Next week we start more immunizations. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 16, 2008 Saturday - (Day +1164) Outpatient - (Day 1124)

We were late to the shop today and will leave early. Nicholas slept 10 hours and woke me up with kisses and a "I missed you". He is so awesome. We are on our way home to eat and play. This is a kick back weekend for us. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 15, 2008 Friday - (Day +1163) Outpatient - (Day 1123)

Nicholas is finally back. Between building the cooler, him getting sick, and valentines day for me he is finally back to spend some time with the boys, (me lol). We are having a great time and I really missed him. He is really into the Wiggles and is singing and dancing all day. Well, home to wrestle and go to bed. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 7, 2008 Thursday - (Day +1155) Outpatient - (Day 1115)

Nicholas was visited by the doctor last night at 10:30pm because his rash was getting worse. They took him off the antibiotics and gave him some benedryl. The Venko was the culprit so we will not give that to him anymore the doctor said. His rash got really bad and it is still here this morning. He is wound tight and ready to go. Nothing grew out of the cultures so off we went for his antibiotics and home to rest. He needs to stay out of school next week and just relax. We will bring him up to date with the immunizations, a pneumonia shot, and chicken pox vaccine, :( I hope all of this is safe. He is really doing better today and hope this is all over for the future.

February 6, 2008 Wednesday - (Day +1154) Outpatient - (Day 1114)

Nicholas is still in hospital and is showing a rash we think from the antibiotics. The doctors think it may be a rash from the viral infection, but we will see. He is feeling like eating a little but he is de-hydrated a little. Still a little fever coming on, but seems to be getting a little better. I will leave after him and mom go to bed so they can both get some sleep. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 5, 2008 Tuesday - (Day +1153) Outpatient - (Day 1113)

Nicholas is being admitted to St. Joseph for a couple days. He has been fighting a fever for 6 days now and after 5 days of Z-Pac he still spiked 102 deg last night. His doctors in Spokane WA want him admitted and on IV Vancomiacin until the blood cultures come back. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

February 2, 2008 Saturday - (Day +1150) Outpatient - (Day 1110)

I went to spend the day with Nicholas. He is still sick and I miss him so very much. We had a great afternoon and a good dinner. He wanted to play and wrestle around, but we tried to stay relaxed so he could get to feeling better. Maybe this week I will pick him up for a couple days then back for the weekend. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.
