Nicholas came over last night after his big brothers football game. We ate and went to bed. He woke up ready to go at 6 am this morning. He was singing, dancing, and wanting to play the 360. He is so cute and his para-influenza is almost gone. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

Nicholas wanted to come back with me from the long day of taking pictures. We got up early to ride his scooter and went back to Orofino in time for school. He was getting a little sick but still singing and dancing. Later after school he got sicker and got a fever. We all went to ER and all of the tests were run. It looks viral and nothing we can do but wait it out. He got para-influenza and a little croup. He was pretty sick, but still a good sport about the doctors visit. This came on fast like all of his sicknesses but he is resting now. All of his numbers look good so we just wait it out. Please pray for Nicholas and his health.

October 23, 2007 Tuesday - (Day +1048) Outpatient - (Day 1008)

This morning Ed Yates and Crew came to Orofino to do a update on Nicholas.

Ed from the KSL channel 5 News in Salt Lake City , Utah has not seen Nicholas for a couple years now and flew in to do a update on Nicholas and the cure for CEP.  Ed was blown away on how much Nicholas has changed and how grown up he is. We all shot video for a couple hours and then they had to catch a plane back to Utah. The update will air the first Monday in November at ten o'clock as they did while Nick was in transplant.  It was very nice to see Ed again and spend some time with him this afternoon. Nicholas really likes Ed and one of his favorite show was the ten o'clock news while we were in Utah. Ed got his usual hugs from Nicholas and off they went.

Thanks to Ed and everyone in Utah for all of the support and friendship we have received from them in the last 3 years. We will keep everyone informed and get a copy of the show for Nicholas' website.

Thanks again, we miss you!!

It is Dads Birthday

Last night Nicholas and I carved the pumpkin that we picked up at the pumpkin patch yesterday. He had fun even got his hands dirty in the slippery stuff. After we lit the candle and it was glowing in the dark I said it was scary and Nicholas replied, "No daddy, it is not scary" He is growing up so fast. Please pray for our little Nicholas and his health.
