Nicholas' Journal  March 2007

March 27, 2007 Tuesday - (Day +841) Outpatient - (Day 799)

After 1.5 hour nap and a 10 hour sleep yesterday Nicholas woke up ready to go. I had the humidifier on all night and he did not even cough once. That thing really works great. He is not coughing like he was yesterday and sounds much better. Nicholas got excited when grandma came to visit him at the flower shop and showed her all of the flowers. He ate a great breakfast and lunch and we are going home to barbque chicken. Please pray for our getting better flower man.

March 26, 2007 Monday - (Day +840) Outpatient - (Day 798)

We are all trying to get over this stuff that is going around. Nicholas is here for a couple days and we are in the flower shop. We are opening today for business and we should have a lot of fun. Nicholas just loves the flower shop and he wants to help out with everything from cleaning the flowers to the plants. He is a flower boy at heart. Please continue to pray for our little flower boy Nicholas.

March 24, 2007 Saturday - (Day +838) Outpatient - (Day 796)

After Dad being sick all week the phone call came in at 9:00pm that Nicholas had a fever he and his mom were on there way down to ER. They got into town about 10:00pm and the doctor started to run the tests. By midnight Nicholas was off the bed and was very antsy. His fever dropped on its own and shortly after all tests came back good and the doctor said it was viral, go home, he is ok. Wow, what a blessing. We all headed home and went to bed. Please keep praying that his fever stays gone and he gets over this stuff.

March 19, 2007 Monday - (Day +833) Outpatient - (Day 791)

Nicholas' mom bought him a pair of sunglasses like his brother. He loves them and wears them around the house looking cool. He is really into skateboards and Tony Hawk. We play Tony Hawk on the 360 while he stands on his skateboard with his glasses on, what a ham!!!. He is so funny. Please pray for our little and very cool son Nicholas.

March 18, 2007 Sunday - (Day +832) Outpatient - (Day 790)

Nicholas was very busy today. He played at the parks from 1:00pm until I had to drag him home for dinner at 5:00pm. He was worn out and had a blast. The weather is wonderful here a nice 70 deg and long days. It is time to stay outside for the spring and summer. Please pray for the play in the park boy.

March 17, 2007 Saturday - (Day +831) Outpatient - (Day 789)

The weather is finally turning to spring and I think summer with the heat. Nick spent the day shopping with mom and brother, playing in the playground, and riding his bike and scooter. He has been going since 4 am and will go to bed fairly early tonight. It is going to be a nice weekend so we will barbeque and play outside for the next couple days. Please continue to pray for our little energetic Nicholas.

I really missed Nicholas so I went to get him to spend a couple days with him. We had fun cooking breakfast and just hanging out and playing. Nicholas rode his bike for a while and then we came in to play Tony Hawk. He is awesome. Please keep praying for Nicholas and his health.

March 5, 2007 Monday - (Day +819) Outpatient - (Day 777)

We were running errands today and Nicholas decided to actually eat a sucker. This is the first sucker that he actually was licking and seemed to enjoy it. He does not eat much sugary stuff. It was funny to watch him lick it, then he decided he was done. He seems to be growing still everyday. Please pray for our little and still growing Nicholas.

March 4, 2007 Sunday - (Day +818) Outpatient - (Day 776)

Today was a beautiful day and we spent it outside all day. Nicholas rode his scooter, we went to 2 parks and played and then home to ride his bike. We cannot wait until Spring warms up and stays that way. He had so much fun and now he is very tired. It will be a early night tonight. Nicks blood pressure has been very good this last couple days, a little better that the last couple weeks. Please pray for our little and growing Nicholas.

After a 10 hour nap Nicholas woke up ready to go. We watched cartoons and played Tony Hawk for a little while. A friend of mine is going to Datona today and is going to try to get some autographed pictures of Pastrana, Mcgrath, Stewart and who ever else is there. Nick will be so excited. He loves motorcycles so much. Please keep praying for the motorcycle mad man.
