December 12, 2006 Tuesday - (Day +737) Outpatient - (Day 694)

WHITE BLOOD CELLS = 9,200
RED BLOOD HEMATOCRIT = 44,000
PLATELET = 490,000
RETIC = 0.8

IGG = 508

We are on our way to Spokane to a doctors appointment!!

Will update later.

UPDATE: We got to Spokane and the doctor figured that Nicholas IGG level was low so all the meds were ordered and was started. He was definetly feeling better, but with the threat of a fever last sunday and now his cold we figured he was low. The test came back after the infusion started and his IGG actually went up for the first time from 502 to 508. His body is holding its own despite being sick. This is so great. Now, with the infusion we should be good for at least 3 months and since his level went up maybe he will not need any more infusions. Please pray that he continues to do well and he continues to produce plenty of IGG.

December 11, 2006 Monday - (Day +736) Outpatient - (Day 693)

Nicholas woke up this morning feeling a lot better. The doctors are worried that his IGG level might below so we are going to Spokane WA tomorrow in the am to have some blood work done. If his low he will be infused, and if not he will probably come home on antibiotics. Please pray for our little sick Nicholas.

December 10, 2006 Sunday - (Day +735) Outpatient - (Day 692)

Nicholas is not feeling good today!!!!

Nicholas went to bed last night sneezing and was starting to sound a little stuffy. He slept a little restless and was up early this am. As the morning progressed he just sounded worse and looked the same, he did not feel good. At 1:30 he went down for a nap and slept for 2 hours. He woke up with his batteries charged and feeling better. He ate a decent lunch and we have been playing a little since. He is just kicking back before his bath playing on the computer. He is very stuffy and his voice is raspy. Please pray for our little Nicholas and that he gets over this stuff.

December 9, 2006 Saturday - (Day +734) Outpatient - (Day 691)

Here is Santa in the bath tub!!!

Nicholas is putting suds on his face and singing the Santa song, HO, HO, Ho!!! He is so into Christmas. Everything he sees he wants and asks me if Santa will bring it. He is so funny and cute. He seems to be growing up soooo fast. We just hung out most of the day except for feeding the ducks. Please pray for Nicholas' health.

December 8, 2006 Friday - (Day +733) Outpatient - (Day 690)

WOW, Dad was having major Nicholas withdrawl, but he is back for a few days now:).

I went to pick him up today and we came back to my house. He is doing great. We are playing video games before he goes to bed and tomorrow we will do our regular routine. Hopefully the weather will hold and we can go out to feed the ducks and spend a little time out. Please pray for our little Nicholas and his health.

December 3, 2006 Sunday - (Day +728) Outpatient - (Day 685)

Today we had our Christmas / Thanksgiving Dinner. We had it on this day so Jake and Family could come in from Colorado, and my sister and family could come in from Seattle. Nicholas had fun getting tickled by his grandmas, and playing with Riley. When we got home tonight he gave me a scare, he had diarrhea twice and his temp was going up. He fell asleep at 8:15pm and I watched him all night expecting a fever, but at 3:00am his temp went back to normal. He fought it off, whatever it was yeah:):):).. Please pray that Nicholas continues to do well and no more scares.

December 2, 2006 Saturday - (Day +727) Outpatient - (Day 684)

"Happy 2nd Bone Marrow Birthday"

Nicholas had his 2nd bone marrow birthday today. This means that he is 2 years post transplant and doing great.  He wanted a new DVD "Mickey Saves Santa." Here he is holding on to it and he has watched it non stop since we got home. We went to feed the ducks today (one of our daily routines) and they acted like they were starving. They see him coming and start to quack. It is so funny. We even have the birds coming around now. He had a great day today and we are off to bed. Please pray for Nicholas and a great job done on his 2nd bone marrow birthday.
